Have questions about our wedding or specialty cakes?

Here are answers to some of the most commonly asked questions about Bakery Hill wedding and other specialty cakes. If your questions aren’t answered below, please email us or call 513-569-4697. We’re happy to help!

What kinds and flavors of wedding and other cakes does Bakery Hill offer?

At Bakery Hill, we offer dozens of  cake flavors, fillings and icings. Click here to see a list of our most popular flavors and combinations. If you don’t see what you want on the list, let us know. Since the cake is custom made for you, we are able to create almost any flavor you might want.

Can I visit the Bakery Hill showroom to see the kinds of cakes offered?

Our online gallery will give you an idea of the many kinds of custom cakes that we have created and what we can create for you. Of course, it is likely that you won’t see exactly the cake you want in the gallery, since we will be making a cake that is customized for you. To view the gallery, click here.

I know exactly what kind of cake I want. If I describe it, can you make it?

It is highly likely that we can create exactly the cake you want. When you come for a consultation, bring any drawings or sketches you have, color swatches, ribbons, or anything else that will help give us a good idea of exactly what you want.

If I am interested in a Bakery Hill wedding cake or other specialty cakes or pastries, whom do I contact?

We are delighted to work wtih you! Please email us or call 513-569-4697 so we may arrange details or schedule an appointment.

How much do Bakery Hill wedding cakes cost?

The cost varies, depending on the nature of the cake, number of servings, and other factors. During your wedding cake consultation,  we will be able to give you a specific price quote. Cake delivery and set-up is $50.

When should I contact you to book my wedding cake?

We suggest that you contact us as soon as possible. Most brides and grooms book six months to a year in advance. Some dates are more popular than others. When a date is fully booked, we cannot accept additional orders. Please call us early to schedule a tasting consultation; we will be able to tell you then if your date is available. If you are not sure what you want, we can reserve your date and then finalize the details as the big day gets closer.

I want to taste some cakes to make sure of what I want. Is that possible?

Of course. At your wedding cake consultation, we will offer you cake to taste, as well as some fillings.

Will you create special cakes for other celebrations, such as groom’s cakes, birthday cakes, and other occasions?

Absolutely. We enjoy being creative, and we will work with you to design, bake, and decorate exactly the cake you’d like to have.

What should I bring to my wedding cake consultation?

During your wedding cake consultation, which is also a tasting opportunity, we will work to design a custom cake just for you—you do not have to choose from a catalog of cookie-cutter wedding cakes.  Bring pictures of cakes you like or don’t like, color swatches or ribbon, and even bouquet photos if they are available. At your consultation, we will show you pictures of cakes we have done in the past, and you will get to taste some cake as well.  A $50 deposit is required to reserve your wedding date.

I want cupcakes and petit fours for my wedding. Can you provide them?

Definitely. Since we are a full-service bakery and employ professional pastry chefs, we can pretty much create anything you can dream up. Let’s discuss what you’d like to have and how the professionals at Bakery Hill can accomplish it.

I need a cake at the last minute. Can you help me?

We like to accommodate last-minute requests whenever possible. Please give us a call at 513-569-4697 and we will advise you whether or not we can provide the cake or other pastries you want in your tight timeframe.
